To prepare for your stay at the Home for Life, the following items should be secured
  • Phone Card (need to replenish throughout a resident’s stay)
  • Laundry Detergent – one gallon to begin
  • Personal Hygiene supplies – shampoo, conditioner, razors, make up
  • Hair brushes/combs
  • Blow dryer
  • Curlers/curling iron/flat iron
  • One piece swimming suit
  • Flip flops
  • House Shoes
  • Night gown or other night clothes
  • Walkman – with no radio
  • Tennis Shoes
  • Seasonal clothes (jacket, coat, Capri shorts, etc.)
  • Clothing for special events (holiday, church, other occasions)
  • Clothing for every day wear (sweat pants, jeans, sweat shirts, t shirts (no inappropriate pictures or writings)
As your stay extends to another season, you may receive additional clothing from your family or sponsors.  Or, you may receive personal money with which to use for purchases.

All monies sent for personal purchases must be made payable to the resident.  These will be cashed and placed in the resident’s account.  An ongoing financial record of purchases will be kept to verify expenditures.

Applications completed in their entirety will be considered for admission.
